The idea for this series came to me when I was sprawling in my balcony, and saw two pigeons sitting on a distant railing, cooing to each other with such anxiety and urgency, it almost felt like they're gossiping about the neighboring pigeon or maybe negotiating a nuclear deal or a treaty. Then a third one joined in and the gossip continued.

I imagined the pigeons as a group of aunties ranting about their neighbors, and following this I was bombarded with ideas of how different animals could be anthropomorphized. The result of this imagination and effort is before you.
